Upon graduating from college, I was excited because I could do anything that I wanted. As a government and economics double major, the possibilities seemed endless. The flip side was that I also felt overwhelmed as there was no prescribed path for me; I could do anything that I wanted. So, I started on my own journey. Generally, I was (and still am!) driven to improve the various communities in which I existed by lifting others and education felt like the space where I could be very impactful. I then started my first of two terms of service at City Year Philadelphia, an AmeriCorps program. During my second year at City Year I served at Mastery Charter School in West Philadelphia, where I led a mentoring program for seniors centered around college admissions. While doing that work, I developed a passion for post-secondary school success.

In April 2018, I took a leap. I moved to Southborough, Massachusetts to be a part of the faculty at St. Mark’s School. There, I served as the Assistant Director of College Counseling, advisor, assistant football and basketball coach, and House (Dorm) Head. During my time at St. Mark’s I honed skills to support students holistically. It is an honor to be a part of the post high-school planning process, and I am excited to see what is next for our students!

As an OPC, I am excited to return to campus to support the next generation of OPCs. Go Yellow!
